Suzanne Redlich, LCSW

In collaboration with the Adult Engagement department and Suzanne Redlich, PAS’s social worker, this learning program will include social time to connect over coffee and snacks.

This month's session will be a fall-prevention workshop offered by physical therapist and PAS member, Holly Rudnick Kurtzberg. Kurtzberg will give a presentation covering the topic in depth, including risk factors and demonstrating how to fall and get up appropriately. In addition, Kurtzberg will offer an optional, brief fall screening to individual participants to assess if they are at heightened risk of falling.

Holly Rudnick Kurtzberg is a physical therapist with over 30 years of experience helping clients rehabilitate from injury. She has expertise in working with adolescent and adult orthopedic injuries with a specialty focus on the spine. She is also a trained women’s health educator, pre- and postnatal educator, and certified Health Coach. Kurtzberg has taught in the PT programs at Columbia University and Hunter College and has co-authored a textbook on postoperative rehab.
