Partnering Together: Caregiving for a Family Member with Dementia
Suzanne Redlich, LCSW and Shira Felberbaum-Kedem, LMSW, MS

This new 10-week psychoeducational group is for adults caregiving for a parent or parent-in-law, a partner/spouse*, or a sibling* who has mild cognitive impairment or various types of dementia, including Alzheimer's, Lewy body, vascular, frontotemporal, or mixed dementias. Each session focuses on providing foundational knowledge about disease progression, adapting to changing relationships, coping with grief and loss, engaging a broader support system, grappling with legal and financial considerations, and the role of spirituality.

*We are looking for adult children caring for a parent but may also open the group to people caring for a partner/spouse or a sibling. If you would like to join this group, please let us know by completing the form below.

PAS Social Worker Suzanne Redlich, LCSW and CaringKind Social Worker Shira Felberbaum-Kedem, LMSW, MS will co-facilitate this educational series. Groups are limited to 12 participants. Each session will be 1.5 hours. Depending on participant availability, we may choose to meet in-person at PAS, or over Zoom. Please register and indicate your availability; this group will require a consultation call with Redlich.
