This new 10-week
psychoeducational group is for adults caregiving for a parent or
parent-in-law, a partner/spouse*, or a sibling* who has mild cognitive
impairment or various types of dementia, including Alzheimer's, Lewy body,
vascular, frontotemporal, or mixed dementias. Each session focuses on providing
foundational knowledge about disease progression, adapting to changing relationships,
coping with grief and loss, engaging a broader support system, grappling with
legal and financial considerations, and the role of spirituality.
*We are looking for
adult children caring for a parent but may also open the group to people caring
for a partner/spouse or a sibling. If you would like to join this group, please
let us know by completing the form below.
