Partnering Together: Caregiving for a Parent with Dementia
Suzanne Redlich, LCSW and Shira Felberbaum-Kedem, LMSW, MS

PAS would like to offer a 10-week psychoeducational group for adult children caregiving for a parent who is experiencing mild cognitive impairment or various types of dementia, including Alzheimer's, Lewy body, vascular, frontotemporal, or mixed dementias. Each of the 10 unique sessions focus on providing foundational knowledge about disease progression, adapting to changing relationships, coping with grief and loss, engaging a broader support system, grappling with legal and financial considerations, and the role of spirituality.

PAS Social Worker Suzanne Redlich, LCSW and CaringKind Social Worker Shira Felberbaum-Kedem, LMSW, MS will co-facilitate this educational series. Groups are limited to 12 participants. Each session will be 1.5 hours. Depending on participant availability, we may choose to meet in-person at PAS, or over Zoom. Please register and indicate your availability; this group will require a consultation call with Redlich.

A caregiver or care partner is defined as anyone who tends to the emotional, physical, financial, or other needs of a person with dementia or memory loss.
