Gymnastics with Coach Natalie  During this class, children will explore gymnastics movement through an obstacle course designed to help strengthen their gross motor skills. The obstacle course will incorporate age and developmentally appropriate gymnastics equipment and skills. Children gain confidence, body awareness, and core/upper body strength while developing a healthy relationship with movement.  Equipment will change regularly but they can expect to see things like monkey bars, springboards, balance beams, and various vaulting blocks. There will also be some fine motor work using equipment such as parachutes, ribbons, scarves, and blocks. Ms. Natalie is very enthusiastic and loves to teach, so the kids will be sure to have a blast!
Art Club with ECC Educators:

Art Club is a magical place where little hands and big imaginations come together to explore the colorful world of creativity. Designed specifically by our teachers for the ECC, Art Club aims to nurture each child’s budding artistic abilities, foster self-expression and ignite a lifelong love for the arts. In Art Club, the children will engage in a variety of hands-on art activities.  Through a blend of guided projects and open-ended exploration, we encourage each child to unleash their creativity and develop skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Cooking Club with ECC Educators: Children will make edible creations in cooking class. Here, they will learn cooking basics, kitchen safety, and working as a team. We work with children on chopping, mixing ingredients, and introduce them to kitchen tools like a whisk and a spatula.

Experiments and Explosions with ECC Educators  Kids are natural experimenters and inventors. Learning science from an early age helps students understand the world around them. In this class, students become scientists through a wide array of hands-on activities! Your scientist will conduct experiments, learn new concepts, discuss observations with friends, and learn how much fun science can be! Together we are going to learn to think critically, question, investigate, and begin to understand complex systems. This is an opportunity forscience discoverywhile students will dig into real-life scientific concepts that will be reinforced each week.
Afterschool will run for 12 weeks.
