Thursday, Nov 6

5:00pm - Meet at PAS to drive to LGA

7:59pm - Flight to BMH

9:47pm - Arrive in Birmingham

10:30pm - Arrive at hotel and intro to journey


Friday, Nov 7

9:00am - Context talk about Birmingham

9:30am - Walking tour of Freedom Park and 16th Street Baptist Church

11:30am - Depart for Selma

1:00pm - Tour of Selma and walk across the Edmund Pattus Bridge

3:00pm - Leave for Montgomery

6:00pm - Shabbat Services

8:00pm - Dinner


Saturday, Nov 8

9:00am - Shabbat learning session

11:00am - Rosa Parks Museum

12:45pm - Lunch

2:00pm - Equal Justice Initiative's Legacy Museum

4:00pm - Equal Justice Initiative's Memorial to the Victims of Lynching

5:00pm - Havdallah, dinner, and depart to Atlanta


Sunday, Nov 9

8:30pm - Tour Auburn Ave and King Center Neighborhood

10:00am - Church Services at Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church

11:30am - Head to airport

2:30pm - Depart ATL

4:53pm - Arrive at LGA

COST: $2,300 for PASport holders, $2,600 for members. Includes accommodation, entrance fees, transportation, programming and most meals. Does not include personal spending or dinner on Thursday or lunch on Sunday.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations before September 1st are fully refundable.
Cancellations between September 1st
 and September 20th result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the trip cost.
Cancellations after September 20th are non-refundable.

Waiver
Please read the following carefully and mark your agreement to the below statement before completing this form.


1. Voluntary Participation: I acknowledge/My teen acknowledges that participation in this trip is voluntarily, with the full understanding of the conditions noted below. I/we understand and agree to abide by directives from PAS staff to Trip participants. I hereby assume and agree to accept any and all risks to my safety and security during the course of the Trip; and I hereby release PAS, any subcontractor/Trip organizer, and any of such organizations, trustees, officers, agents and employees from any claims, including property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of:

(a) any wrongful, negligent, willful, or unauthorized acts or omissions on the part of PAS or any of the tour suppliers, or other employees of agents, or

(b) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, equipment, instrument owned, operated or otherwise by PAS or any other suppliers, or

(c) any wrongful, willful, or negligent act or omissions on any part of PAS or other party not under the supervision or control of Park Avenue Synagogue or its subcontractors, which may arise during the course of participation in the Trip, and agree not to make any claim or initiate any lawsuit against PAS or others including any damages which are incurred by me or any other person on this registration form, including death or personal injury to me or any person on this registration form, which occurs during or as a result of events related to the Trip.

2. Photography:  I hereby grant permission, without reservation, to Park Avenue Synagogue to take and to use photographs and/or sound/image recordings of me, to describe and to use the same for promotion of good will, education, and/or fundraising and other related activities of Park Avenue Synagogue, and I waive any right to inspect or approve the photograph(s) or finished version(s) of works, including web site, incorporating the photograph(s), and waive any right I have to any copyright with respect to such photographs and recordings.

3. I hereby grant permission, without reservation, to Park Avenue Synagogue to use my name in connection with advertising or promotion of the Trip.

4. I acknowledge that an itinerary may be adapted or modified at any time before or during the Trip for any reason, including but not limited to the safety of participants. I agree that I will abide by the guidelines and instructions given by Park Avenue Synagogue or its representatives during the Trip, including, but not limited to, any warnings against visiting certain areas that Park Avenue Synagogue has been advised could be dangerous.

5. All releases and disclaimers set forth in this Registration Form will be binding on me, my legal representatives, heirs, and assigns. I have read, fully understand, and been given the opportunity to ask all questions I have regarding this Disclaimer. I am fully competent to sign this Trip Registration Form on behalf of myself and the family members registered on this form with me.
