The Rita and George M. Shapiro Audio Archive is an extensive collection of audio recordings dating as far back as the 1950s which includes synagogue services, sermons, concerts, lectures and special events, which capture the rhythm and life of the PAS community. Through study of select pieces from the archive, we’ll explore key social, political, and religious issues of various points in PAS’s history and discuss how our synagogue played a role in shaping conversations around topics that are still top of mind today, such as civil rights, interfaith relations, women’s rights, Israel and the Middle East, and more.

Oct 15, 22, 29 / Nov 5, 12, 19 / Dec 3, 10, 17 / Jan 7, 14 (make up date)

Cost:

$395 / member
$425 / non-member

REFUNDS:

Through September 30: Full Refund

October 1 - October 29: Full refund less $50 administration fee

October 30 and onward: No refund
